Thou {wast} perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, {as} Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which {were} in Telassar?
Having the glory of God: and her light {was} like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
{As for} the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.
And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.
