In the day {that} I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which {is} the glory of all lands:

And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given {them}, flowing with milk and honey, which {is} the glory of all lands;
And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant {land}.
Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, {is} mount Zion, {on} the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate. {pleasant...: Heb. land of desire}
But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. {glorious...: or, goodly, etc.: Heb. land of ornament}

When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
And ye shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country {for} the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land {that is} not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
And that ye may prolong {your} days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou {art} a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.
And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

{For} when I had brought them into the land, {for} the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
