And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy {place}; that they bear not iniquity, and die: {it shall be} a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.

In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which {is} before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: {it shall be} a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist {it} not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die. {and die: Heb. to die}
And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and {is} a witness, whether he hath seen or known {of it}; if he do not utter {it}, then he shall bear his iniquity.
They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.
And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
But the man that {is} clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

And it shall come to pass, {that} when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that {is} upon the testimony, that he die not:
And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who {are} his, and {who is} holy; and will cause {him} to come near unto him: even {him} whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed {that} thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it {is} most holy, and {God} hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?
