And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I {am} the LORD. And they did so.
See now that I, {even} I, {am} he, and {there is} no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither {is there any} that can deliver out of my hand.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, {even} I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, {am} against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
I, {even} I, {am} he that comforteth you: who {art} thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man {that} shall die, and of the son of man {which} shall be made {as} grass;
And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, {and cast you} out of my presence:
And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, {even} thy firstborn.
For I {will be} unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, {even} I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue {him}.
And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein {is} the breath of life, from under heaven; {and} every thing that {is} in the earth shall die.
Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed? {wonderfully: or, reproachfully} {the people: Heb. them}
He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with {their} eyes, nor understand with {their} heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
And in very deed for this {cause} have I raised thee up, for to shew {in} thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. {raised...: Heb. made thee stand}
{He is} wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened {himself} against him, and hath prospered?
For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, {and} that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, {even} all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I {am} against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and it was a very great company.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him:
And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you {they are} given {as} a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing {was} as to devour the poor secretly. {came...: Heb. were tempestuous}
And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I {am} the LORD. And they did so.
