Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him.
And he was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, beside the mischief that Hadad {did}: and he abhorred Israel, and reigned over Syria.
Concerning Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; {Is} wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
