After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it {was} diverse from all the beasts that {were} before it; and it had ten horns.

And saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. {name: or, names}

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all {things}: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, {one} like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, {and} did spread them abroad.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, {and} who {is} he?
Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth {are} terrible round about.
For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young: {of fierce...: Heb. strong of face}
And the ten horns out of this kingdom {are} ten kings {that} shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it {is} a mighty nation, it {is} an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.
