And also I have withholden the rain from you, when {there were} yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel {were}, was there no hail.
Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all {that is} the children's of Israel.
If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:
And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; {and} if the dew be on the fleece only, and {it be} dry upon all the earth {beside}, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.

Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and {then} cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms {of flies} shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I {am} the LORD in the midst of the earth.
And thy heaven that {is} over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee {shall be} iron.
And it shall be, {that} whoso will not come up of {all} the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed {from} her fruit.
The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.
Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.
Are there {any} among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? {art} not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these {things}.
