God {is} not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do {it}? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
Faithful {is} he that calleth you, who also will do {it}.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep {you} from evil.
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; {In: or, For}
God {is} faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
That by two immutable things, in which {it was} impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they {are} not all Israel, which are of Israel:
O LORD, thou {art} my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful {things; thy} counsels of old {are} faithfulness {and} truth.
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he {is} God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, {if} the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left {us} of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
And he said, Abba, Father, all things {are} possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, {Is there} not a lie in my right hand?
Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. {Zoar: that is, Little}
Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.
The works of his hands {are} verity and judgment; all his commandments {are} sure.
