For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. {blindness: or, hardness}
Now concerning spiritual {gifts}, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
Blessed {is} he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time {is} at hand.
Thou shalt arise, {and} have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but {this} one thing {I do}, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, {even} God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. {before him: or, like unto him}
To me {belongeth} vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in {due} time: for the day of their calamity {is} at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord {is} at hand.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
But this I say, brethren, the time {is} short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;
{Are} thy days as the days of man? {are} thy years as man's days,
But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites {is} not yet full.
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Therefore rejoice, {ye} heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Behold, thou hast made my days {as} an handbreadth; and mine age {is} as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state {is} altogether vanity. Selah. {at...: Heb. settled}
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. {shall follow...: Heb. shall be after it}
Behold, God {is} great, and we know {him} not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
{What} if God, willing to shew {his} wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: {fitted: or, made up}

But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this {is} the day whereof I have spoken.
And he said unto me, These sayings {are} faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
