And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God {was} with him, and magnified him exceedingly.

And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him {such} royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
Then sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was established greatly.
And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God {is} with thee in all that thou doest:
But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. {shewed...: Heb. extended kindness unto him}
So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; which went out, and fell upon him, that he died. And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.
And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this {shall be} a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that {are} in the earth.
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, {even} unto the end of the world. Amen.
And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, {so} I will be with thee.

So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.

And many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations from thenceforth. {presents: Heb. precious things}
And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God {is} with thee in all that thou doest:
And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.
As the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.
The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
