These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; {among them: or, for them}
Then said he, These {are} the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. {anointed...: Heb. sons of oil}
Then answered I, and said unto him, What {are} these two olive trees upon the right {side} of the candlestick and upon the left {side} thereof?
But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees? {go...: or, go up and down for other trees}
For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural {branches}, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Then answered I, and said unto him, What {are} these two olive trees upon the right {side} of the candlestick and upon the left {side} thereof?

Three bowls made like unto almonds, {with} a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, {with} a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
