Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all {of you} be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these {things} God will bring thee into judgment.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him {that is} from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
And it shall come to pass afterward, {that} I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Rebuke not an elder, but intreat {him} as a father; {and} the younger men as brethren;
Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, {and} stood up.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe {which is} instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man {that is} an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure {things} new and old.

But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men {to} edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father {doth} his children,
And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I {am} young, and ye {are} very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion. {young: Heb. few of days} {durst...: Heb. feared}
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think {of himself} more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. {soberly: Gr. to sobriety}
And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. {discretion: or, advisement}
Therefore let us not sleep, as {do} others; but let us watch and be sober.
And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed {them}.
