And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, {which} go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify {himself} in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. {peace: or, prosperity}
After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land {that is} brought back from the sword, {and is} gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him {was} called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: {Prepare: Heb. Sanctify}
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive {his} mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
And saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. {name: or, names}
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. {cause...: or, the LORD shall bring down}
I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that {were} in the bottom; and behind him {were there} red horses, speckled, and white. {speckled: or, bay}

He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
{They are} dead, they shall not live; {they are} deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they {are} of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; {yet} they shall fear, {and} they shall be ashamed together.

I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. {glorious...: or, goodly, etc.: Heb. mountain of delight of holiness}
Therefore {it is} no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. {destroy the earth: or, corrupt the earth}
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and {for} my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, {even} in Jerusalem.
And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them. {destroy...: Heb. cut them off}
Behold, they shall surely gather together, {but} not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
And I John saw these things, and heard {them}. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
