Mark the perfect {man}, and behold the upright: for the end of {that} man {is} peace.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth {it} to heart: and merciful men {are} taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil {to come}. {merciful...: Heb. men of kindness, or, godliness} {from...: or, from that which is evil}
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.
Knowing that shortly I must put off {this} my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. {end: or, reward}
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect {man}, neither will he help the evil doers: {help...: Heb. take the ungodly by the hand} {come: Heb. shall not be}
Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth {part} of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his! {me: Heb. my soul, or, my life}
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of {them} whose heart {is} perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. {to shew...: or, strongly to hold with them, etc}
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
These {are} the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man {and} perfect in his generations, {and} Noah walked with God. {perfect: or, upright}

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that {there is} none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. {to destroy...: Heb. to swallow him up}
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: {Gentile: Gr. Greek}
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go {and} sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come {and} follow me.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
