[{A Psalm} of David.] I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

For the LORD {is} a great God, and a great King above all gods.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
