Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, {and} from a deceitful tongue.

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
The proud have forged a lie against me: {but} I will keep thy precepts with {my} whole heart.

Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand {is} a right hand of falsehood.
All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed {her} up: certainly this {is} the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen {it}.
