Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth {his} substance.
The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left {to himself} bringeth his mother to shame.
For the time past of {our} life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
