His lord said unto him, Well done, {thou} good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. {slothful: or, deceitful}

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do {it} with thy might; for {there is} no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

He becometh poor that dealeth {with} a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.

As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put {them} in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken. {to serve: Heb. to stand before}

And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which {was in} Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.

And they did eat and drink, he and the men that {were} with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master.

And Joseph {was} thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

And there was set {meat} before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.
