The desire of the righteous {is} only good: {but} the expectation of the wicked {is} wrath.

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Blessed {are} they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments {are} in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
One {thing} have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. {the beauty: or, the delight}

LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: {prepare: or, establish}
The hope of the righteous {shall be} gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
When a wicked man dieth, {his} expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust {men} perisheth.
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope {is} in thee.
Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part {shall be} to deliver him into the king's hand.
The thoughts of the righteous {are} right: {but} the counsels of the wicked {are} deceit.
