Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest be bound.
To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart {is} not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength {lieth}.
And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength {lieth}, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.
The simple believeth every word: but the prudent {man} looketh well to his going.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
