And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought {means} to bring him in, and to lay {him} before him.
When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
For a {certain} woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.
But he went out, and began to publish {it} much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. {was...: Gr. voice was made confounded: or, troubled in mind}
And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.
But he went out, and began to publish {it} much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
For a {certain} woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.
