It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except {it be} for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
So then if, while {her} husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from {her} husband committeth adultery.
And unto the married I command, {yet} not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from {her} husband:
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
Marriage {is} honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except {it be} for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from {her} husband committeth adultery.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
And unto the married I command, {yet} not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from {her} husband:
And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's {wife}.
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
