In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon. {safely: Heb. confidently}
After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made {them} afraid.
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken {it}.
