Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I {am} more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
And when {ye see} the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

Where {is} boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
And he answering said to {his} father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men {are}, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Seeing {it is} one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
