And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
My soul shall be satisfied as {with} marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise {thee} with joyful lips: {marrow: Heb. fatness}
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave {it} unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee {is} mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. {rest: Heb. be silent}
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put {him} to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see {his} seed, he shall prolong {his} days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. {thou...: or, his soul shall make an offering}
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and {that} your joy might be full.
And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
Who {is} a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth {in} mercy.
If any of them that believe not bid you {to a feast}, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.
And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and kneaded {it}, and did bake unleavened bread thereof:
Wherefore do ye spend money for {that which is} not bread? and your labour for {that which} satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye {that which is} good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. {spend: Heb. weigh}
Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry. {tabrets: or, timbrels}
And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that {sheep}, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

Better {is} a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.
