And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
Ye are of {your} father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up {herself}.
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
