And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this {is} my name for ever, and this {is} my memorial unto all generations.

And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, {that} every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear {the burden} with thee.

Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did {it} ignorantly in unbelief.

And it was so, when the days of {their} feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings {according} to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which {was} over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with {their} clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.

For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also {that is} born unto thee shall surely die.
