But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called {the mount} of Olives.
And he closed the book, and he gave {it} again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do {it} with thy might; for {there is} no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending {them}, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that {is} the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
And when they heard {that}, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
And they which heard {it}, being convicted by {their own} conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, {even} unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
