Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him {that is} from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
Thy teeth {are} like a flock {of sheep that are even} shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none {is} barren among them.
For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear {it}.
