The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.
Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread {the grapes}, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
The name of the LORD {is} a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. {safe: Heb. set aloft}

O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man {that} turneth aside to tarry for a night?
In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David {shall be} as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. {feeble: or, abject: Heb. fallen}
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation {even} to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
And cried with a loud voice, as {when} a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
