Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.
Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust {it} through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel {are} merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy life.
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
