For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

But {as} truly {as} I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?

And Elijah the Tishbite, {who was} of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, {As} the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. {Elijah: Heb. Elijahu: Gr. Elias}

And Elijah said, {As} the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely shew myself unto him to day.

And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely.

For, {as} the LORD liveth, which saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But {there was} not a man among all the people {that} answered him.

Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God. {himself: Heb. his soul}

Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct {him}? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.

How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?

Thinkest thou this to be right, {that} thou saidst, My righteousness {is} more than God's?

In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
