And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: {for ever: Heb. all days}
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah {were} oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.
Israel {was} holiness unto the LORD, {and} the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.

The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. {an adversary...: or, I will afflict them that afflict thee}
And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
