I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, {that} I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
For the commandment {is} a lamp; and the law {is} light; and reproofs of instruction {are} the way of life: {lamp: or, candle}
The way of life {is} above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
