And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, {saying}, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

For so hath the Lord commanded us, {saying}, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and {of} Barak, and {of} Samson, and {of} Jephthae; {of} David also, and Samuel, and {of} the prophets:
Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men {were they} whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou {art}, so {were} they; each one resembled the children of a king. {resembled...: Heb. according to the form, etc}
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, {to be} a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammothdor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.
And Kedesh, and Edrei, and Enhazor,
Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me {to} the judgment {that} thou hast commanded.
The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, {even} for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
{As} I live, saith the King, whose name {is} the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor {is} among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, {so} shall he come.
Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
Out of Ephraim {was there} a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer. {handle: Heb. draw with}
Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment {is} toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God {is} with thee whithersoever thou goest.
And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.
And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe.
Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men {were they} whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou {art}, so {were} they; each one resembled the children of a king. {resembled...: Heb. according to the form, etc}
And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Bethshemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
Zebulun and Naphtali {were} a people {that} jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field. {jeoparded: Heb. exposed to reproach}

If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and {toward} the house that I have built for thy name: {toward the city: Heb. the way of the city}
And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.
And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.
And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them. {gathered: Heb. called}
And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, {that} ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you.
And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chislothtabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,
And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.
Now Heber the Kenite, {which was} of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which {is} by Kedesh.
And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
And the princes of Issachar {were} with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben {there were} great thoughts of heart. {foot: Heb. his feet} {thoughts: Heb. impressions} {For: or, In}
Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
Naphtali {is} a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.
