For this {is as} the waters of Noah unto me: for {as} I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, {then} the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, {and} come to thee. {As} I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them {on thee}, as a bride {doeth}.

For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed {it} by an oath: {confirmed...: Gr. interposed himself by}
It shall be established for ever as the moon, and {as} a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.
