Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: {is sacrificed; or, is slain}
But I {say}, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live {of the things} of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? {live: or, feed}
Take {it} of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.

And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.

And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
And he made the altar of burnt offering {of} shittim wood: five cubits {was} the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; {it was} foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.
Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that {was} before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
And he made the incense altar {of} shittim wood: the length of it {was} a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; {it was} foursquare; and two cubits {was} the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
They shall eat the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs. {dedicated: or, devoted}
And it shall be the prince's part {to give} burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel. {peace...: or, thank offerings}
And thou shalt make an altar {of} shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof {shall be} three cubits.
And he put the altar of burnt offering {by} the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
This {was} the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:
And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
