The words of the LORD {are} pure words: {as} silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard {it} in the tent door, which {was} behind him.
Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
But he {who was} of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman {was} by promise.
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, {and} with his seed after him.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; {In: or, For}
Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on {me}, to take away my reproach among men.
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
But Sarai was barren; she {had} no child.
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
