The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, {so let him give}; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This {is} the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, {and} they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace {be} on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it {withal}. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
My heart {is} toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish {ought} from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, {even} unto the end of the world. Amen.
Who then is Paul, and who {is} Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.
For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation {of the gospel} is committed unto me.
I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee. {present: Heb. found}
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, {it is} because {there is} no light in them. {no...: Heb. no morning}
Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, {which} I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,
But who {am} I, and what {is} my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things {come} of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. {be able: Heb. retain, or, obtain strength} {of thine...: Heb. of thine hand}
For to {their} power, I bear record, yea, and beyond {their} power {they were} willing of themselves;
For if there be first a willing mind, {it is} accepted according to that a man hath, {and} not according to that he hath not.

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD, {even} the money of every one that passeth {the account}, the money that every man is set at, {and} all the money that cometh into any man's heart to bring into the house of the LORD, {dedicated things: or, holy things: Heb. holinesses} {that every...: Heb. of the souls of his estimation} {cometh...: Heb. ascendeth upon the heart of a man}
And {some} of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which {is} at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:
Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
If his offering {be} a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
