And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. {anointest: Heb. makest fat}
Then answered I, and said unto him, What {are} these two olive trees upon the right {side} of the candlestick and upon the left {side} thereof?
But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees? {go...: or, go up and down for other trees}
The pure candlestick, {with} the lamps thereof, {even with} the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
And thou shalt make a candlestick {of} pure gold: {of} beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God {was}, and Samuel was laid down {to sleep};
And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also {set they in order} upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.
And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it. {sweet incense: Heb. incense of spices}
And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
{Some} of them also {were} appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices. {instruments: or, vessels}
Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest {pertaineth} the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, {and} the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein {is}, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
