When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the {epistle} from Laodicea.
Whereupon neither the first {testament} was dedicated without blood. {dedicated: or, purified}
And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, {Ye} men {and} brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

For this {is} the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: {put: Gr. give} {in: or, upon}
And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth {is} mine:
And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou {art} shall see the work of the LORD: for it {is} a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
{There was} nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put {therein} at Horeb, when the LORD made {a covenant} with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt. {when the LORD: or, where, etc}
And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD. {great...: Heb. from great even to small}
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all {their} heart and all {their} soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, {but} that ye break my covenant:
Who are Israelites; to whom {pertaineth} the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service {of God}, and the promises; {covenants: or, testaments}
For he said, Surely they {are} my people, children {that} will not lie: so he was their Saviour.

Whether {it be} good, or whether {it be} evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.
