And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur {are} with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. {keep...: Heb. keep to do them}

And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters {are} good and right; but {there is} no man {deputed} of the king to hear thee. {there...: or, none will hear thee from the king downward}

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.

Then came there two women, {that were} harlots, unto the king, and stood before him.

The statutes of the LORD {are} right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD {is} pure, enlightening the eyes.

And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people {and} the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was {so}, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city {art} thou? And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
