And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break {it} off. So they gave {it} me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, {and} brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered {offered} an offering of gold unto the LORD.
