And he said, I {am} God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish {was} my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. {moveth: Heb. creepeth}
And God said unto him, I {am} God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.
Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess {it}.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee {for} an everlasting possession.

As for me, behold, my covenant {is} with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. {many...: Heb. multitude of nations}
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which {is} upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; {shore: Heb. lip}
But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be {a mother} of nations; kings of people shall be of her. {she...: Heb. she shall become nations}
And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, {then} shall thy seed also be numbered.
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. {spread...: Heb. break forth}
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. {grow: Heb. as fishes do increase}
And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot {that were} men, beside children.

He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee {for} an everlasting possession.
Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.
For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do {it}; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them {again}. {straiteneth: Heb. leadeth in}
And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that {it was} good.
And he said, I {am} God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which {is} by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me: {face: Heb. eye}
And God said unto him, I {am} God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now {are} many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.
I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.
