And the Lord GOD of hosts {is} he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as {by} the flood of Egypt.
Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
Egypt riseth up like a flood, and {his} waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, {and} will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.
Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases {were} torn in the midst of the streets. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it {is} a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry {land};
The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.
I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
