And cast {him} out of the city, and stoned {him}: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.
And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard {him} lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:
And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. {brow: or, edge}
And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, {even} against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.
But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.
And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

And there came thither {certain} Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew {him} out of the city, supposing he had been dead.
And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called {the place} of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed {them} to prison.
And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.
Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against {them}.
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever {he be} of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth {any} of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

And as they cried out, and cast off {their} clothes, and threw dust into the air,
Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
