Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.

And when the governor had read {the letter}, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that {he was} of Cilicia;
But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.
Let them therefore, said he, which among you are able, go down with {me}, and accuse this man, if there be any wickedness in him.
And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.
But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian {band},

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed {me}, desiring {to have} judgment against him.
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute {you}, delivering {you} up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
