And when they heard {these sayings}, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great {is} Diana of the Ephesians.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who {is} like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen {do}: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed {it}, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
