And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits. {the corner...: Heb. the gate of it that looketh}

Now Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son, {Ahaziah: or, Azariah}

And the days which Jeroboam reigned {were} two and twenty years: and he slept with his fathers, and Nadab his son reigned in his stead. {slept: Heb. lay down}

And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead. {Rehoboam: Gr. Roboam}

And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And his mother's name {was} Naamah an Ammonitess. And Abijam his son reigned in his stead. {Abijam: also called, Abijah: Gr. Abia}

So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.

Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings. {without...: Heb. without desire}

Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who {are} ye? And they answered, We {are} the brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the king and the children of the queen. {met with: Heb. found} {to salute...: Heb. to the peace of, etc}

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.

And they brought him on horses: and he was buried at Jerusalem with his fathers in the city of David.
