Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou {art} a man of God, {and} that the word of the LORD in thy mouth {is} truth.

And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And when the sons of the prophets which {were} to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, {upon} me {let this} iniquity {be}: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid. {audience: Heb. ears}

And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.
